Our Public Spirit (OPS) is a multi-year initiative to promote philanthropy among African American and Asian Pacific Islander women throughout the Greater Boston area. OPS explores the giving traditions and practices among women of color and works to expand
their support for social change and social justice work.

The goal of the project is to connect people, communities and organizations to achieve positive social change through philanthropy. OPS seeks to (1) increase donors of color for social change philanthropy and (2) increase women of color in leadership roles in the philanthropic community.

The Clients: Boston Women’s Fund in collaboration with Haymarket People’s Fund and the Women’s Theological Center (WTC).

KCA assignment: Website development, outreach, media relations, fundraising and creation of a giving circle.
