About Hibernian Hall
Hibernian Hall is a historic building located two blocks from the Dudley Square MBTA bus terminal and business district in the Boston neighborhood of Roxbury.

It was built in 1913 by the Ancient Order of Hibernians as a center for Irish cultural, social, and charitable activities. Now fully restored, the carefully preserved building again serves the community as Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall, a center for cultural activity. The building provides a permanent home for Arts, Culture and Trade Roxbury (ACT Roxbury), and its programs and initiatives. ACT Roxbury is the cultural economic development program of Madison Park Development Corporation. The redevelopment of Hibernian Hall as an arts and cultural facility also offers an important opportunity to revitalize an important block in Dudley Square and add significantly to the renewal efforts that are currently underway.
